Let's test...
Does this simplify the invite process?
Yes, one workflow is better than two...
Can it be done in two weeks?
With the right laser focus, I think so!
Yes, dogs are great.

Thanks

Blah blah blah
Hi, Brandi shared your email with me and I'd love to help test this workflow.

I was not invited through the system to participate (my friend forwarded the me the link via text). I am able to see the published site and add my comments. I don't see an area to add any photos or videos. That would be a plus. Also, since I wasn't originally invited, I think the button at the bottom of this page should say "Send Story to Host for Approval"
Does this simplify the invite process?
Yes...

In this scenario, both public and private participants see the abbreviated website header/hero image/text and are asked to fill out a form of questions. ---> If "Make Site Private" was selected by the Host, the Participant will see a "Notify Me When Site is Live" button at the bottom of the screen.
---> If "make Site Private" was NOT selected by the Host, the Participant will see a "Publish Story and Preview Site" button at the bottom of the screen before being redirected to see the published site.
QUESTION FOR YOU: Are we adding value by not showing participants the published site before asking them to contribute??? I think removing that step streamlines the invite/participation process,—and I like that there's essentially only one workflow—but we need to make sure the answer to this question is a "DEFINITELY YES" before reworking.

I received the participation link in an email and found it very easy to fill out the form and add my photos.

Let me consult my magic eight ball..."As I see it YES"...(Q: Is Aiman the right person for this? A: "YES definitely") + (Q: Is Kristy the right person for this? A: "Yes") + (Q: Is James the right person for this? A: "Don't count on it")
